ZMIROT DINNER

Next Friday evening, we are organizing a Zmirot dinner. David will be with us and he is pretty good at singing, he knows many zmirot by heart...(Zmirot are special Shabbat songs that Jewish people enjoy singing at the Friday night dinner's table.)

Vendredi soir prochain, nous organisons un diner Zmirot. David sera parmi nous et il est tres bon chanteur, il connait plein de zmirot par coeur...(Les zmirot sont des chansons speciales que les Juifs aiment chanter a table lors du diner du vendredi soir.) 

As we have many guests, the dinner will be at JCC (Jewish Comunity Center of HK) and we will sing beetween every course. Mark has prepared the texts of the songs in Hebrew, transliteration and English translation so that everyone can join in.

Comme nous avons beaucoup d'invites, le diner se tiendra au JCC (centre communautaire Juif de HK) et nous chanterons entre les differents plats du repas. Mark a prepare les textes des chansons en Hebreu, transliteration et Anglais pour que tout le monde puisse participer.

Catherine (my sister in law from Strasbourg) and Alain are staying with us for 10 days, they are not used so much to Zmirot singing, on Friday nights,I hope anyway that they will enjoy the evening. 

Catherine (ma belle-soeur de Strasbourg) et Alain sont chez nous pour 10 jours, ils ne sont peut-etre pas tres habitues aux Zmirot le Vendredi soir, j'espere qu'ils y prendront quand meme plaisir.
