I am back in Paris for the Jewish New Year, I was missing the children so much! It's fantastic being back for a few days; As usual we had guests both evenings.
For Rosh Hashana (Jewish New Year) we dip an apple in honey so that the New Year will be sweet; every year, I try to make a nice table decoration with apples, and to find very red and shiny big apples to dip in the honey; But this year in Sanya (China), we were given a delicious drink : a glass of apple juice with honey at the bottom and grated apple floating in the glass.
It was delicious and as it is apple diped in honey, I decided to do it for Rosh Hashana, and our guests just LOVED it, they welcomed the change and enjoyed the drink.
Bonne Annee!!!

Our son David is very good at blowing the shofar (Ram Horn) he did it in shul and amazed everybody. He can also blow tunes from both ends of the shofar which is just amazing!!!

Notre fils David sonne tres bien du shofar (corne de belier) il l'a fait a la synagogue en etonnant tout le monde,. Il peut aussi jouer des airs religieux ou non par l'un ou l'autre bout du shofar ce qui est tres etonnant et tout a fait incroyable;
