This afternoon at 3pm the weather became strange, oppressing, so hot, then clouds arrived, a sort of mist with a strange light in the sky.
Cette apres-midi vers 3h le temps est devenu etrange et oppressant, tellement chaud, puis des nuages sont arrives, une sorte de brume avec une lumiere etrange dans le ciel.
We could hear thunder far away, then it came closer and we could see lots of lightnings, non stop lightnings. Then rain started, and became like a urtain, with gusts of wind.
On entendait le tonnerre au loin, puis il se rapprocha et nous vimes plein d'eclairs, des eclairs non stop... Puis la pluie debuta et devint un rideau d'eau, avec des bourrasques de vent.
No need to clean the windows in summer, the storms does it for us. Kai Phong was so scarred that I had to put her Thunder Shirt on her.. just partly efficient.
Pas besoin de nettoyer les vitres en ete, les orages s'en chargent. Kai Phong est terrorisee, je lui ai remis son Thunder shirt....semi efficace seulement.
So much rain, pouring, and so much wind blowing, the swimming pool just above us was in a terrible state with plastic armchairs all over...even in the swimming pool!
Que d'eau, que d'eau, et quel vent, la piscine juste au-dessous de nous etaient sens dessus dessous...
avec les fauteuils en plastique par terre un peu partout...meme dans la piscine...

According to Wednesday 23/07/2014 South China Morning Post, day following the storm : "The Hong Kong Observatory recorded 6 207 lightning strikes between 2pm and 5pm, with 4 574 of them cloud to ground."... That was a storm!!!
D'apres le South China Morning Post du Mercredi 23/07/2014 lendemain de l'orage: "L'observatoire de Hong kong a releve 6207 impacts de foudre entre 14h et 17h dont 4574 impacts partis des nuages et ayant touche le sol."... Ca, c'etait un bel orage!!!

Mark is in Australia for 4 days. He will be very busy for 3 more weeks, then thinks will become to settle down and we will take some holidays in some resort hotel somewhere... that I am frantically searching on internet!

I have just finished an enormous painting of Bereshit (again!!!) on a canvas but loose not yet held and stretched on wood . The size is 2m x 1,50m that too was an adventure!
Je viens de finir un tres grand tableau Berechit (encore) sur une toile mais pas sur chassis, de 2m x 1m50 quelle aventure ca aussi!
