TOKYO (1)

We arrived on Saturday 22th Nov   afternoon, and our friend Keiko came to fetch us at Haneda airport, we went to her home 30 kms outside Tokyo in Chiba-ken. Keiko's parents had a big house in which she currently lives when she is not in Paris. She has kept it exactly as it was when her parents lived there, almost exactly as I knew the house when I spent 2 weeks at her parents' home in 1969.

Nous arrivames le Samedi apres-midi et notre amie Keiko vint nous chercher a l'aeroport de Haneda, nous allames chez elle a 30 km de Tokyo dans le departement de Chiba-ken. Les parents de Keiko avaient une grande maison ou elle habite maintenant quand elle n'est pas a Paris. Elle a garde la maison exactement telle qu'elle etait du temps de ses parents, a peu pres telle que je l'ai connue lorsque j'ai passe 2 semaines chez eux en 1969.. 

There is a big garden, full of lemon trees and grapefruit trees.
Il y a un grand jardin plein de citronniers et de pamplemoussiers.

Pomelos

We slept the Japanese way, on the floor in a futon (Japanese bed) in a room with tatami floor.

Nous dormimes a la Japonaise, sur le sol dans un futon (le lit Japonais) dans une piece au sol recouvert de tatamis.
