We are back from 4 days in southern Taiwan : Kaoshiung and Tainan. But before telling you about it I want to finish with our Japan trip.
Kyoto Thursday afternoon and evening :
Coming back from the mountain train, we visited Eikando, a temple where Momijis were at their most beautiful time and color.

Night was falling and the moon appeared.

We were invited by Akiko, to have dinner in a very special restaurant The Sodoh at Higashiyama : a former artist of Nihonga or Japanese painting's studio. The artist's name was Seiho Takeichi. His studio had been refurbished into a posh Italian restaurant, in a lovely house decorated beautifully.
Thanks Akiko for choosing such a special and rare place to invite us. Even Keiko did not know this restaurant.

After dinner, we went to see a temple the Kodaiji, open at night and we saw the amazing reflexion of momijis in a small lake, and a bamboo forest at night, it was like being in a dream...

I still dream of this Kodaiji temple at night!
Je reve encore du Kodaiji de nuit!
