YANGOON JEWISH CEMETARY / CIMETIERRE JUIF DE YANGOON

We found the Jewish cemetary with the telephonic help of Moshe Samuels daughter. It is well hidden and very discreet but quite big

   

Nous trouvames le cimetierre juif avec l'aide telephonique de la fille de Moshe Samuels. Il est bien cache et tres discret, mais assez grand. 

                                                    

                                                      

             

 The cemetary was inhabited, by stray dogs and also by human families  who seemed to dwell there in little ruined building or in huts. It was sad and dirty but surely very cheap.

Le cimetierre etait habite, par des chiens errants et aussi par des humains, des familles qui semblaient resider la, dans de petits batiments en ruine ou dans des huttes. C'etait triste et insalubre, mais surement bon marche.

Then we had a slow and late lunch to regain strengh before visiting the museum. But it was closed when we got there so we headed to the biggest pagoda in Yangoon :Shwedagon Paya.

Puis nous primes un long et tardif dejeuner afin de reprendre des forces avant le musee. Ce dernier etait deja ferme quand nous arrivames, alors nous primes la direction de la plus grande pagode de Yangoon : Shwedagon Paya.
