SECOND DAY IN HANOI / DEUXIEME JOUR A HANOI

Unfortunately, the weather did not allow us to visit Halong Bay so we came back from the airport and continued visiting Hanoi. We saw the National Museum of History and in the afternoon, the  magnificent Temple of Literature.

Next to the Ho Chi Minh complex was the lovely One Pilar Pagoda originally built in 1049.

Then back to the hotel, dinner in a near by Vietnamese restaurant and an ice-cream in a trendy but very simple place where young people gathered to eat ice-cream while standing and chatting under a crude and week light.
